The Rules of Life
Inspired by the Communication Studies and English classes I was attending, I designed a set of self-improvement cards and their respective packaging. I certainly didn't expect the conversations within these classes to peak my interest in the way that they did, but they introduced me to ideas and topics I am now very passionate about. With that passion and my constant desire to be creating, I came up with the concept of this project. I had been compiling various points and "rules" related to positive thinking throughout both of my classes and the more I implemented said rules into my own life, the more important they became to me. Constantly referring back to my Google Doc of all my "rules", I realized this new passion of mine could create a great project for another passion of mine; packaging design. Needless to say, this was a big passion project for me—in just about every way. Inspired by my classes and my growing list of "rules", my strong beliefs in optimistic thinking, love for all things design and packaging specifically, and the fun of cutting, gluing and physically assembling my own design, "The Rules of Life" was born.
